If we wanted to characterize the Summer of 2020 with a word, the one that comes to mind is relaxation. We follow the same philosophy with hair, choosing messy hairstyles, knots, braids, as well as beach waves all in minimal lines.
Trends
This year braids have their honor in various styles, as we’ve seen in Fashion Weeks. On one hand, Dior presents soft and uniform braids, giving a romantic touch, and on the other, Ulla Johnson revives the rope tails trend, for women that want to be different. We will also see the strict middle part being modernized, in various styles. Messy hair, super straight, or beach weaves are some of the suggestions by Bottega Veneta, Channel and JW Anderson for the Summer of 2020.
Colour
This year’s trends we see the return of almost black, as presented by Givenchy, Alberta Ferretti and Alexander McQueen. On the other hand, Balmain, Prada and Rochas chose models with bronze and fire blond hair shades in modern and fresh haircuts, perfectly matched to the tan of the summer holidays. Impress with Cool Blonde and choose from a palette of cool metallic shades blam Balayage. The absolutely chic choice through the most well-known techniques with French influence, combining them with more nude shades in dark open.
Make up
The gloss on the lips will play a dominant role in make-up, as well as all the shades of blue in shadows and pencils. Let’s not forget that according to Pantone, 2020 is the year of the blue.
