On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor catastrophe, a great film was created with universal messages, directed by Gregory Karantinakis. It convincingly conveys the atmosphere of the time through perfect sets and costumes and the heartbreaking destruction of Smyrna, using modern digital effects. The shooting of the film took place in: Lesvos, Chios, Athens, Piraeus and Faliro. The film was released in cinemas, by Tanweer, for Christmas 2021, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor catastrophe. Based on the book with the same name and theatrical work by Mimi Denissi.
