Βοrn in Athens, Mary Katrantzou studied Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design in the USA and graduated with a BA in Textile design and an MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins in London. Feminine, innovative, fresh and elegant, she boasts over 100 high-end stockists ranging from Selfridges to Joyce, Matchesfashion.com, Harrods and Saks.
Her Spring-Summer 2020 collection was entirely inspired by ancient Greek culture, and in particular by ideas born in ancient Greece in the 5th century BC from Greek philosophers and mathematicians.
Her creations are a celebration of Greek heritage, history and culture, exceptionally presented against the breath-taking backdrop of the ancient Temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of ELPIDA, the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer, established by Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinogiannis.
