This fall found us all with a “numb” feeling. However, the entire planet has been adjusting to the new reality, and this also applies to fashion. After an unprecedented quarantine and a very different summer, fashion now focuses on natural, dynamic beauty, as Anastasios explains.
On the catwalks, elegant, minimalist low ponytails with strong side partings are featured by fashion houses like Oscar de la Renta, Etro, Victoria Beckham and Valentino. Also, exuberant, natural curls in Diana Ross style, sculpted vintage waves and the seductive wet look that are sometimes highlighted with tweezers.
There are two trends in makeup, the natural and the discreetly dynamic look. The first, an intense look with many layers of mascara, pencil erased on the eyelash line, discreet shades ranging from the iridescent beige of champagne to the deep shade of caramel, and lips accentuated with nude colors. The second is based on the bright red and burgundy shades on the lips, the seductive cat eye or “architectural” touches of eyeliner and the discreetly bright eye shadows. In terms of haircuts, the timeless frame is presented in a blunt or french version, the lob is combined with long naiveties in the ‘70s style and the shag is highlighted with natural curls and sloppy, curly naiveties.
