St. George Lycabettus hotel, in collaboration with the cultural platform Le Soleil Foundation, in the context of tourism and culture, celebrated the one year anniversary of the Jitrois Stay Gold room.

With a view at the Acropolis, Lycabettus and the islands of the Saronicos gulf, the room is dedicated to the great French philhellene designer Jean-Claude Jitrois. The evening was honored by the President of Greek Tourism Organisation, Mrs. Angela Gerekou, proposed Jitrois to be appointed as an “ambassador of Greece” and offered him an edition of Antikythera Mechanism by Konstantinos Stikas. Dinner was held at the award-winning for the most beautiful view of Europe at the luxury awards in Switzerland ,Grand Balcon venue of the hotel.

The sponsor was the famous One & Only prosecco DOC Brut 2019 of the awarded winery Fantinel and was followed by a dinner of modern Greek flavours in the colours of Greece by the hotel  chef Vassilis Milios and sous chef Giannis Douros.

The evening ended with the creations of the new collection of Jean-Claude Jitrois, inspired by Greece with the very modern cuir vegan material. Mrs Ada Iliopoulou, curated the event.
