«FLORA» Collection Inspired by the Spring Garden!
Ziad Nakad belongs to the new generation of Lebanese couture designers and in recent years he has had a dynamic presence at both the Paris Couture Week with grand fashion shows and an impressive series of appearances on the Cannes red carpet, with major figures from the cinema, modeling and the social circles to which his powerful clients belong.
This year’s “Flora” collection is inspired by the spring garden that blossoms with the most beautiful flowers.
The designer plays with handmade lace, tulle, crepe, chiffon, and silk with interventions of ostrich feathers that give a sense of glamour. The embroidery on the fabrics is handmade and combines various types of materials, such as beads, fringes, and crystals, using masterful silk threads.
The 3D flowers are the main characteristic of embroidery, giving a sense of a romantic garden with modern interventions. The colours follow a palette in pastel shades that rhythmically play from pink and blue to green and peach, without excluding a sudden burst of red.
